Maurice Byers Chambers, established in April 2000, is located on Level 60 of the MLC Centre at 25 Martin Place, Sydney. It currently comprises about 60 barristers, including 12 Senior Counsel, practising across a wide spectrum of fields such as public, constitutional, criminal, commercial, and tribunal work. The Chambers is named after Sir Maurice Hearne Byers, a leading Australian constitutional and High Court advocate.
We confirm that our office is completely independent and that we have no commercial relationship with all listed Barrister Chambers on our website. Any Barrister from any Chambers that we seek to brief, will be entirely independent, subject to all appropriate conflict checks and in accordance with each Barrister’s ordinary availability as published through the Chambers Clerk.
